Accessibility
AI Systems Alliance is committed to ensuring that our website and platform are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and functionality, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of our digital products.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, AI Systems Alliance takes the following measures:
- Integrate accessibility into our internal design and development processes
- Provide accessibility training to our product and engineering teams
- Conduct regular accessibility audits using automated tools and manual testing
- Test with assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and high-contrast mode
- Include accessibility requirements in our vendor and partner agreements
Current Accessibility Features
Keyboard navigation
All interactive elements on our website — including navigation menus, buttons, forms, and modal dialogs — are fully accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys.
Screen reader support
We use semantic HTML elements and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to communicate content structure and interactive states to screen readers. We have tested compatibility with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
Colour and contrast
Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We do not rely on colour alone to convey information.
Resizable text
All text on our website can be resized up to 200% using standard browser zoom controls without loss of content or functionality.
Alternative text
All informative images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked with an empty alt attribute so screen readers skip them.
Focus indicators
Visible focus indicators are present on all focusable elements to assist keyboard and switch control users.
Motion and animation
Where possible, we respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query to reduce or eliminate non-essential animations for users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known areas under active improvement include:
- Certain third-party embedded content (video players, chat widgets) may have limited accessibility that is outside our direct control
- Some complex data visualizations in our platform application include enhanced screen reader descriptions that are still being improved
We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback to help us prioritize improvements.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and platform. If you experience any barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or need assistance, please contact us:
